ARTIST NEWS
In the spring and summer of 2012, I will teaching several workshops through the Great River Regional Library. The workshops are open to the public and will be held at library branches throughout western Minnesota. In the classes we'll combine poetry, collage and bookmaking. In 2010, I was invited to create a book for uTales. Founded in 2010, uTales offers a new world of digital picture books for kids. Together with storyteller Paulino Brener from Argentina, I've created a picture book for ages 3-5: The Adventures of Meya (and Mo). Check it out at: www.utales.com
In the spring of 2008, Claire Counihan, Director of art & design at Holiday House Books, asked if I would be interested in illustrating a David and Michael Adler book. A PICTURE BOOK OF CESAR CHAVEZ was published in August 2010 and is available in book stores.
