ABOUT THE CREATIONS

I create Artist's Books, Shrines, Story Boxes, Sculptures, Paintings and Poetry. My images speak of a love for nature, and depict the many layers through which I experience reality. In a world of myth and metaphor I search for the essence of creation. Some images walk a fine line between the familiar and the utterly wild, uncontrollable, otherworldly. I work this edge to convey a balance of opposites: sensual serenity, peaceful intensity, the dance between form and formlessness.

I want to bring my audience an oasis, a place full of mystery, a poetic space that fuels the imagination. Like an archeologist I dig for relics of belonging, images that speak to the core of the human experience. What I unearth when I create runs deeper then my Swedish roots. I'm reaching for a universal language with roots into something archetypal and ancient.

HOW TO ORDER

If you are interested in purchasing a piece, send me an e-mail or give me call. An art piece may be ordered from the web gallery as an original or in the form of a fine arts print. You can also commission a custom designed piece using personal symbolism, dream images or deities. I have an extensive theater background and design puppets and masks for theater and dance performances as well. My poems are available as a hand bound book, White Leaves, size 8.5" x 1.5".
